Last time I wrote I meant to tell you about my bus adventure…..
So I was booked to have a nice relaxing facial, I decided that I would not take the car because parking is a nightmare. So off I go to the bus stop….I know I could pretty much take any bus that was going in that direction..(well Yokohama is not the biggest place in the world) I get on with my travel card, swipe the card..( look at me blending in…NOT!!!!) Then I go and stand and reply and send text messages….Then it happens…..The creepy voice…..
When you get on the bus here, you will notice that the bus drivers have a microphone with an ear piece….Then at every stop with a creep heavy breathing muffled voice the bus driver will tell you the stop you're at….Let me tell you…I am almost positive in most countries the driver would be arrested for the way he talking……it REALLY gives you the creeps..Still shivering! ( not just this driver but all the drivers sound the same….I wonder if you dont have a creepy enough voice if they give you lessons)
So I am on the bus…with the bus driver with the creepy voice, when the driver must have been lost…cause he was not going in the direction I WANTED!!!!…..REALLY he was not!…So the bus is jam packed. I notice that almost everyone is getting off. I look up and notice its the local hospital. I then notice than 98% of the passengers are around 70 years plus….So I guess that Fridays are over 70's day at the local hospital….REALLY NOBODY looked under 70 …so they could have actually be close to 100 years old…Because NO Asians look their actual age…if they look 20 you can normally add at least up to 50 years on. No idea how they look so good, but I am guessing it was more than Olay products!!! REALLY!!!
So I finally notice the driver has remembered where he is meant to be going and he is heading in the direction I WANT TO GO!!!.
I get off the bus and start walking to my appointment.
I have a 90 minute facial booked…I get in there. I am happy (REALLY I AM!) she has already made the blend she will be using…perfect…just the right amount of citrus…see, REALLY….perfect.
Then she says…You are entitled to an extra 20 minute FREE head massage….Hummm ok…110 minutes of PURE relaxation…REALLY, I mean how awesome is that…made up for the creepy voice…which I had gotten over, but know I have mentioned it is sending new shivers of absolute repulsiveness down my spine……yuck!!!!

Tomorrow we are off to a fancy dress/costume party….The theme is Super Hero's….
after a lot of thinking and coming up with NOTHING….I told the host I had no idea what to wear…she said just wear a cape….So this got me thinking for a nano second, with led me to thinking about everything else under the sun other than superhero costumes….Then for some bizzare reason Super Nanny came into my mind…..I thought I can go as her…
That Tv show she is on makes out she is some sorta super nanny…Super Nanny my backside…But….I can go with the idea some people think she is a SUPER NANNY…
So it wont take a lot for me to resemble her…She is large..(so am I)
She is a Brit….(so am I…I just have a nicer accent!) We have the same length hair…(different colours, but a wig will sort that out)
She wears a certain tailored blue shirt…(I have the exact same one..just mine one belongs to me!)
She thinks she is good with kids…(I know I am crap with with kids!)
We both wear glasses…and we have the same lip gloss…and I am sure we have one of those small potable DVD players around somewhere…See all sorted…I am impressed with myself that I focused for that long, to find an idea for a costume. REALLY I am.

Been back at that Indian …still not on first name terms…but he finished off my order…

Miss Wiliams came over for a cuppa this week. I lover spur of the moment arrangements.
Makes for a nice surprise in what can be just another boring day waiting in for the maintence man who speaks NO ENGLISH (fair enough we are in Japan) but who seems to think if he repeats the same Japanese sentence 20 times I will eventually understand…WRONG…I have enough problems understand English.

My hearing is getting worse. It is getting to the stage that I cant hear 50% of what people are saying when talking to me on the phone. I am alsohaving trouble hearing what people are saying who are in the same room as me. I am finding I need to see their faces…Not taht always helps as I am as blind as a bat even with the glasses.

Tomorrow J is playing Basktball in Tokyo. He needs to be at school by 7.30am Well G has decided he is going to watch…not that it took much thinking on G's behalf, he goes to every even that Jamie is in if he is here.
So my problem is…do I go or do I stay at home and watch TV…I think I might surprise them and go with them.
….Well I might

The naughty fairies that are surrounding me are getting worse!!! REALLY they are.
So…I had to put a lock on my phone so I would not pocket dial anyone anymore. It was getting a total nightmare. So I put a REALLY easy passcode ( so I will remember it...) makes NO DIFFERENCE. REALLY no DIFFERENCE!
Over the Christmas period I was a bit more of a witch … well more so than normal! REALLY … So I was having a moment where I decided I was going be a witch (well did not think it...I was being a witch) I was bit louder than I normally would, not that would have mattered. I look down and I see that I had called somebody…Oh yeah…I REALLY had! So much for phone locks
The call was not a 3 or 4 second call but over 2 minutes and was still going….OH NO!!!!
So I re-call the person and explained what I had done and I was sorry…She was like no problem it must be on my answer phone …She said I will just delete it…Man she is good…I would have listened to it!..So that night at dinner, she says all gone….no worries…Her husbands says I wanted to listen to it but she said no…just delete…..Wow she is awesome!!!…I cant promise after I had listened it would not be on YouTube…… Well anyway I am so much more aware of my phone being OFF now…Well those naught fairies are still pocket dialing…absolute nightmare!!!!
Well…not only that but…I made custard one day..never had time to make it from scratch so I made the stuff from the time… You know 2 tablespoons of custard powder, sugar and milk…Well I made it when we had people over and Mr and Mrs Bubbles commented on the color of it…Almost white…As we all know custard should be yellow. Well next day same custard powder made yellow custard
Well this week…I had had a large lunch and when it came to dinner time, I knew I would not eat what G and J were eating so I decided I wanted custard for my dinner…Yes I did type custard…Well I made it and it was white…then I made some more from the same tin and it came out yellow…no idea what those naughty fairies are doing but it's confusing me… Don't get started on what they are doing to the seems on my clothes while I am sleeping…It must be the fairies cause there was no problem before christmas…REALLY they where…

So The new curry place by us is proving a little problem…. G and J want to eat there ALL the time!
Whenever a call is placed, our order does not need to be finished…he knows what we order, he no longer asks which level of spice…he no longer waits for us to finish our ordering…he tells us!!!! So I REALLY think the we could be on 1st name basis soon.

Going to have a go at making my own sausage meat this week….well I made my own Italian sausage…well I flavoured some ground meat. (the secret…dont tell anyone…Fennel and red wine vinegar..REALLY)
Today I made sausage rolls and I decided that i need to make my own sausage meat, because I am getting fed up of finding something one minute and not finding it in the stores the next…

We have decided on Canada for our summer holiday/Vacation…East coast…cant wait…never been in the summer, Hockey Hall of Fame is a must and hoping to get a picture of J sat behind the goalies pads, 12 years on.

G is playing football tomorrow…I have found a nice little place at the club where I can see outside, read my book and stay inside in the warm….All I need now is binconulars to see that far away…Then I can pretend that I have watched the game!

So this morning, I noticed that I had a little red wine left in a bottle. I remembered an email that Shutterbug had sent Delia v's Martha. Delia suggested pouring left over wine into ice cube trays and freezing…Martha was like 'What left over wine?' I was like who has the space for ice cube trays full of wine…My luck the wine would spill out over the frozen pizzas! Then when people come over and I have no wine in the fridge I can tell them if they want they can lick the pizza box!!!!

The contagious Jet lag has not left. I had a lovely afternoon nap and missed most of my TV show….ARGGHHHH no idea when it will be repeated
For example J was watching a TV show yesterday season 3 episode 2, today season 2 episode 8….I mean REALLY???? any need….

G has started play with the Mac, telling me that it does this or does that, like I will remember all that.Like I remember how to find those things.
I mean will I ever need really need the thing with the Guitar? Will I ever need the robot thing? guess I won't…but you never know.

I am now the proud owner of a japanese looking lady dish scrubbing brush it is soooo cool...I LOVE it. I seen them before christmas, the other one I seen had an afro. They are so funky…love them. Thank you Mrs. H it is awesome! The funning part is Mrs. H never bought it in Japan...lol
I am also the proud owner of a pair of cloud shoes...LOVE them. These shoes fold in half and you place then in their own special little bag and pop them in your handbag!!! How cool is that?
Just have to make sure my feet don't start smelling or or otherwise my handbag will stink every time I open it! Mrs. Bubbles got everyone started with the shoes....Can't say where I got them from, not cause I don't want to but I don't have a blog name for them.

Seems that there is mention of a little bit of a snow fall, I got excited. Then I remember the amount of a normal snow fall in our area….Well we might be able to make at least one snow ball.

So.....Why would you walk or run on a path/sidewalk when you have a road instead...No need to worry about the cars on the same road as you. No need to worry about cars coming around corners..Because you would have to be SPECIAL to think that this is normal...I mean REALLY? Any need.....People are just not right...I mean the fact that at least 4 people could walk side by side along the path ways...why would you want that when you can walk on a road that can have 2 cars...plus you...Rolling my eyes!!!

Started watching 3 new shows...loving them all, problem is I am now so used to watching TV shows by the box set, it's killing me to wait for the weekly episode.

Tried a few new recipes...all seem a big hit... not sure if its my cooking or they are desperate to eat something different...I like to think it was the first option, but I know its more likely to be the second....I can dream it's my amazing cooking talent that has them finishing whats on their plates.

I normally have a load of ideas to start the new term...Things for me to do...My main plans so far is sleep....even though we stayed here for christmas, I am convinced that I have caught other peoples jet lag. I am finding it hard to keep my eyes open past mid day.
Today I had to set my alarm so I did not sleep through school pick up.....I actually managed to wake before the alarm...REALLY I did...go me!

Saturday night a few of us went out to a nice little place close by. Table was booked for 8 o'clock. We arrived with Mr. and Mrs. Bubbles. The manager/owner came out of the place and tells us we are too early and we need to come back in 5/10 minutes. Then were told we can sit outside and have a drink...hummm 5 degrees...REALLY...So then they bring out this bucket which has hot coals in and was lovely and warm...bit upset to leave it and have to go inside.
After the meal, 3 of the guys went outside and looked up and found a bar. they checked it out and off we went to join them.
The one person inside apart from our group was the guy behind the bar. A Japanese Rastafarian with two small TV's playing Soul Train videos...There was a VIP area which consisted of a sofa with a kinda curtain with a wooden. The place was awesome. I thought everything closed at 10 in Yokohama...This place opened at 9pm and closed at 5am it was awesome...people wearing white suddenly light up with the florescent lights. The old style, home version of a disco lamp with the multi colored lights was so being called back to the 80's...basically the place was awesome...but I REALLY DON"T want to see it in board day light....REALLY I don't

I want snow...I want to live where there is snow...but I also want a nice lamb stew...but thats not going to happen either...
So I will settle for my ice box house, freezing cold toes and a bowl of corn flakes!

Yep I am back again...I will try and remember to read over what I have typed...to check spelling and grammar...can't promise and I am sure by the time I have finished typing I will have forgotten that I said I would and there will be as many mistake as ever....REALLY I will forget that quickly!

Well I am still learning how to get around this Mac...I am still wanting to leave it where somebody can step on it or sit on it and completely break it so I can go back to my beautiful Dell (that is old and needs some love) But I am not feeling like leaving the Mac to hurt as much as I was.

I have noticed in Japan that nearly van driver in Japan has a cartoon book in with them and they read the book at EVERY red light...REALLY they do...with the exception of the guy I seen today he had a motorbike magazine.

Today i am not very well and somebody came and made me soup and a sandwich...one of the nicest meals I have had!
J and myself are going to Guam for a few days in a few weeks time. Looking forward to it. NOT looking forward to the early flight from Narita....but I am looking forward to the warm break.
We are also looking at the summer holidays/vacation We had pretty much decided to go and 'do the West coast' of America...now Canada has jumped up as an option....Last time we were there was 10 years ago.
So I looked up things to do with a teenager in Toronto one suggestion was go across the island ride some bikes...WHAT???? Why would ANYONE suggest that??? REALLY...Could we not walk it...I would rather sore feet than a sore backside!!!
Another suggestion was Toronto zoo, I remember we took J there Years ago Well (as were were there last time 10 years ago it was years ago...come on Wend!)
So we go to the Zoo and there is loads of snow on the ground and there was a camel giving out free rides... The camel in the snow did not seem right to me...I still remember some evil squirrel jumping onto J's stroller and trying to get his snack....YUCK!!!! I mean where had his hands been!!! (the squirrels not J's)
We have never been to Canada in the summer only in the winter. So if we do go a visit to the 'maid of the mist' will be a must...I mean we will need to join in with the other few thousand people wanting to go on the maid of the trip...We wont want to miss out!

Oh yeah I have also become addicted to something called pinterest...I sit there and just go through pages and pages of EVERYTHING...honestly I do. G looks up from what he is doing sees the page I am on and says your on the same page....Hummm no, now on the Soup page I was on the craft and DIY page last time you made a comment!!!

End of 2011

2011 is coming to an end in 7hours and
couple of vacations...some planned some not so planned. (but Singapore was a blast)
New outlooks on life, new friends made....Still there are some people who can stay over there in the corner...but enough about that.

All of the horrendous happens that have effect the world this year. The 3 I will mention have effected us deeply or people we know.
The terrible floods in Australia and a special family losing a wonderful husband and father.
The terrible earthquakes that have hit Christchurch.
The terrible and terrifying earthquake and tsunami. While I was not in the country G and J were.
I have NEVER been so scared in ALL my life.
.... I remember seeing G and J for the 1st time after I got back to Yokohama... (I got on the train after I returned here..that also gives me nightmares...EVERY Japanese person in Japan was on that train...REALLY!)

We have had people come and stay, from Yeti moo, Miss Charity and SoM.
We went to the US and 'did the east coast' I have to be honest doing a 'tourist' holiday was giving me chills and not in a good way...but....It was awesome.I loved Washington...wont be going back, been there, seen it, got the plane ticket out!
Seen Meet up with Mr. Queenie and one of the little Queenies...which was fantastic,Then gong to stay with Queenie and family was one of the highlights. We also met up with Texas girl and her family...another plus.

Hummm so what else.....

Oh yeah we had the Rugby World cup...Where my wonderful country came 4th.
We spent an enjoy few weeks watching all the games. To say I was proud be Welsh would be an understatement.
I believe I might have been a little vocal....especially with a certain Welsh player...who does not even look Welsh!!!! but I won't get started on that again...most people in Japan heard my option of that durning the world cup.

I have found out that I am lactose and wheat intolerant. I mean...REALLY!!! in Japan...Is there ANY NEED!!! I hate rice and I hate soba noodles...DON'T eat fish!!!!
I love cereal with ice cold milk, I love poached eggs on toast, I love soft boiled eggs and soldiers. That is only the beginning of what I love...I mean ANY NEED!!!!! I don't like Japanese food....I don't like the smells of the Japanese foods, no mind eating it.
So I either deal with give EVERYTHING normal up in my diet or suffer the daily pain.....
I am going with the pain!

I am still in love with my Kindle, But I have like a 100 actual books to read...but they don't look interesting...they don't catch my attention...
not so in love with the Mac...but getting there! Well I am trying to get there. REALLY I am.

I have started to do a lot more craft towards the end of this year.
I have made enough Washi Eggs to Faberge worried...So there!
The I had some lovely wooden tea boxes delivered. To which G comment...'why do we have wooden boxes here, can't get ride of the word and paper we have' I told him in no uncertain terms that we were NOT getting rid of them. I would be covering them with beautiful washi paper.
That all went down like a lead ballon.....But Not as much as when I asked him to come help me lay the top picture on top on the the larger tea box while he was watch the football. He did come help and the end result was lovely...the top picture...not the help!

An Indian restaurant has opened up here in our area...I am shaking m head...I know this might become our second home....Sigh....

I have seen people ask on Facebook if anyone has any New Year resolutions...I don't have ANY.
No point really, I will break them within the hour, so why bother...I mean come on...lets be realistic here.
